How do I join the Club?back to top

It's very simple. Just buy a membership card in our online shop, as you would any of our books. If you've already registered on the site you'll be invited to log in along the way. If not, you'll be able to create your account as you go. Once your order is complete, you'll be sent your personalised membership card and you'll be able to start enjoying all the offers from our UK owners and discounts on our books.

How will I know which places have made Travel Club offers? back to top

On the website you'll be able to filter your searches just for places with Travel Club offers and in our books, look out for the Travel Club symbol on the entries for those places taking part; you'll find offer details at the back of the book.

What do I need to do when making a booking?back to top

When you make a booking, you should mention that you are a Travel Club member. The owner is entitled to ask to see your membership card on arrival, so make sure you take it with you!

How will Sawday's collect membership payments?back to top

When you sign up for membership, you are are agreeing to allow Sawday's to collect an annual subscription payment from you, to be charged to the credit card or debit card you use when first signing up for the Travel Club. The first payment will be collected immediately, and you will be sent a notification by email one month before each subsequent payment is due to be collected.

How can I cancel my membership?back to top

If you are an annual subscriber you will be sent a notification to tell you that the credit card or debit card will be charged for another year's membership. At this point you have the opportunity to unsubscribe from the Travel Club. We will then cancel the next payment and terminate your membership. Sawday's will not be able to give you a refund on any membership payments already made by you.

What happens if I lose my card?back to top

Are the Club offers printed in the Special Places to Stay guides guaranteed?back to top

The Club offers were correct when each book was originally printed. However, the owners of our Special Places are within their rights to change the offers they make to Club members at any point, so please check the Sawday's website for more up-to-date information on each offer and ask the owner whether the offer still stands before you confirm the booking.
